Circles and Dots - table lamp

This double layered lamp shade fits around an Ikea Grönö table lamp. The design is a playful sequence of dots and circles that features 160 delicately moving parts that shimmy when you tap or move the light fixture. The mid century modern vibe and the added motion of the tiny charms attached to the outer layer is pretty entertaining. The lamp shade is made of carefully hand sanded and assembled birch plywood. Each one of the dot and circle charms is attached with a tiny jump ring. It takes a good bit of time to attach all the pieces but I hope you feel the joy I have in making these. I had a blast designing and building this lamp shade in our Tacoma, Washington shop. The Grönö table lamp is included with your purchase along with a 4 watt LED E12 light bulb.
